Frank Johnson Recreation Center is hosting a series called ‘Food Talk’

Macon, GA – According to the city officials, the series are hosted every Thursday at 6:00 p.m. through March 16.

Officials also said that local residents are welcomed to come and learn about eating well on the go, the colors of your food and what they mean, grocery shopping on a budget, and more. 

Center Director Thomas released the following statement:

“These classes are a great way for people to learn how to budget and prepare healthy meals. It’s also a perfect example in action of the mission of our Parks and Recreation Department: building healthy communities through people, parks, and programs.”
