The Council of Clergy met for its regular luncheon, city official say

Macon, GA – According to the city officials, the meeting was held at the South Bibb Recreation Center. 

City officials also said that the clergy members came together to learn from one another and talk about ways to keep our community safe and thriving.

They heard from speakers from Resilient Macon, Central Georgia Technical College, the National Day of Prayer Committee, and U Create Macon.  

The Council typically meets every other month to give our local faith leaders an opportunity to discuss issues facing their congregants and the community at large.

They also have the chance to talk with other ministers and organizations aimed at promoting peace and justice in our community.
