Authorities seek public’s help locating vehicle involved in hit-and-run crash
Macon, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in the Lake Wildwood area.
According to officials, the crash occurred on April 19, 2026, at approximately 5:23 p.m. at the intersection of Greentree Parkway and Ahwenasa Trail. At least one person was transported by ambulance following the incident.
Investigators said the vehicle of interest is believed to be a black Dodge Durango, with model years estimated between 2014 and 2020. The vehicle is expected to have visible damage, including front passenger-side damage, missing or damaged front bumper trim, and a missing chrome fog light housing.
Authorities stated that the driver failed to stop after causing the crash and left the scene.
