Bibb County H.E.A.T. unit cites driver after complaints of rapid acceleration and excessive exhaust noise
Macon, GA – Bibb County Sheriff’s Office H.E.A.T. Unit Cpl. Dalton Palmer responded to complaints of rapid vehicle acceleration and excessive exhaust noise on Allen Road.
During the investigation, Palmer identified the driver and conducted a traffic stop after responding to the complaints.
The traffic stop resulted in multiple citations for traffic-related offenses, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety H.E.A.T. Unit, which stands for Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic, focuses on addressing aggressive and dangerous driving behaviors.
The sheriff’s office said the unit remains committed to identifying unsafe driving activity and helping keep roads safer for motorists and other people traveling in the area.
The Allen Road enforcement action followed complaints from the public about the vehicle’s driving behavior and noise.
