BCSO: 33-year-old suspect arrested for murder in death of 23-year-old man on Denton Street

Macon, GA – According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the 33-year-old suspect, Shavis Hicks, was taken into custody and later booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Hicks was wanted in Bibb County in connection with the death of 23-year-old Jermaine Reynolds on September 15, 2022.

Hicks was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center by deputies of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

He now faces a charge of Aggravated Assault and Murder.

BCSO officials said the suspect does not have a bond.

This is an ongoing investigation.
