BCSO deputies arrested local man regarding the Aggravated Assault incident on Fair Street

Macon, GA – According to the statement, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators, along with patrol deputies, took 50-year-old James Phillips into custody in connection with the incident on Fair Street on November 8, 2023.

The 50-year-old suspect was taken into custody at his residence on Log Cabin Drive without incident.

Phillips was interviewed by investigators and later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault.

He is being held without bond currently.
