Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested a suspect while he burglarized a local business

Macon, GA – According to the statement, this incident occurred at 3706 Mercer University Dr just after 11:00 P.M., Friday.

BCSO officials said that the responding deputies were able to arrest a 16-year-old male for the burglary that occurred at the Mercer Vape and Tobacco.

Deputies were able to apprehend the teen after a short foot pursuit behind the business.

Once the teen was taken into custody he was found in possession of stolen items from the business.

The Juvenile was transported to the RYDC and charged with Burglary.
