Bibb deputies confirm no bomb after threat at Macon hotel

Bibb deputies say people are safe after a bomb threat was reported at a north Macon hotel Monday evening.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in around 6 p.m. about a bomb threat at the Baymont Inn and Suites on Riverside Drive. The building was cleared and checked, and deputies have confirmed that there is no bomb.
