Crawford County man taken into custody on burglary charge following investigation

Macon, GA – A man from Crawford County was taken into custody on a burglary charge following an investigation into a reported break-in at a home on Fulton Mill Court, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said Property Unit Investigator Adam Grant identified the suspect using a Flock camera system after the burglary occurred. The man was later located and taken into custody without incident.

During the course of the investigation, deputies recovered nearly all of the stolen items at a residence in Byron. Officials stated that all but one item had been located and returned to the homeowner.

The suspect was charged with burglary in the first degree and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center, where he remains in custody.
