Macon Black Culture, in partnership with Macon-Bibb County, is holding its 2nd annual Juneteenth Parade on Sunday, June 16, 2024

Macon, GA – Macon Black Culture, in partnership with Macon-Bibb County, is excited to announce the 2nd annual Juneteenth Parade on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

The parade will take place from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and promises to be a vibrant celebration of black women and girls who have significantly shaped our history and culture.

The parade route begins at the Tubman African American Museum (310 Cherry Street), proceeding down Cherry Street, making a left onto Second Street, and then another left onto Poplar Street.

Please note that these streets will be closed from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the event.

Participants can look forward to colorful floats, marching bands, dance troupes, and various community organizations coming together for this important celebration.

Join us to honor and uplift the contributions of black women and girls in our community.
