Macon, GA – Officials announced that employees received the extra boost in their paychecks. Full-time employees received an additional $2,500 and part-time received $1,000.
Mayor Miller also presented to the Commission a plan to give each employee that started with us July 1, 2023, or before a one-time retention pay adjustment.
It was approved that up to $4.1 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) be spent on this pay adjustment.
Employees did not waste any time thanking Mayor Miller and his administration.
