More than 200 people joined the fifth Clean Streets Matter Community-wide Cleanup

Macon, GA – According to the city officials, this amazing event took place in at least 10 different locations across the county with multiple organizations and agencies.  

Mayor Miller and Commissioner Howell also drove around the County, picking up signs placed illegally placed along roads and in its intersections.

In the weeks leading up to the cleanup, the Parks & Beautification Department, Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, and the Georgia Department of Transportation had crews cleaning up major thorough fares and intersections.

Commissioners Paul Bronson and Virgil Watkins helped with cleanups around Memorial Gym.
