Macon, GA – According to the statement, Beverly Knight Olson was the first to endorse the Navicent Health project to construct a new Children’s Hospital that more than doubled the space dedicated to caring for Central and South Georgia’s pediatric community.

Officials have announced that the Knight Foundation Trustee currently serves on the boards of the Macon-Bibb Law Enforcement Foundation, the Macon Sports Hall of Fame, and the Mercer University Athletic Foundation and is secretary of the Rescue Mission of Central Georgia.

Throughout the years, Olson has quietly and humbly supported many organizations in our community by giving of herself and providing financial support.
