StreetScan evaluates over half of Macon-Bibb County’s roads for Paving the Way program

Macon, GA – StreetScan, a leader in infrastructure assessment technology, has completed 60% of its evaluation of Macon-Bibb County’s roads, covering 700 out of 1,188 miles.

This effort is part of the county’s Paving the Way program, aimed at determining future repairs, maintenance, and improvements.

Using advanced LiDAR technology, 360° imaging, and AI-powered analytics, StreetScan will generate a detailed digital map of the road network.

The technology will help identify road defects like cracks, bumps, and potholes, assisting the county in optimizing its infrastructure planning and decision-making.
