The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, are investigating a deputy-involved shooting on West Grenada Terrace

Macon, GA – According to the statement, this incident occurred inside the 800 block of West Grenada Terrace, just after 11:00 a.m., Monday morning.

The armed suspect has been identified as seventeen-year-old Jordan Jamal Rozier of Macon.

On January 24, 2024, Wednesday afternoon, Deputies took Jordan Rozier into custody after being released from Atrium Navicent Health.

Rozier was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Rozier faces a charge of Felony Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer when engaged on Official Duty.

Jordan Rozier currently does not have a bond.

This incident is still being investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Internal Affairs Office.
