The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit arrested 30-year-old suspect in connection with death investigation on Jeffersonville Road

Macon, GA – According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the 30-year-old man, later identified as Kendarrious Cone, was reportedly wanted in connection with the death of Cortavius Ates on February 10, 2024.

Kendarrious Cone was apprehended in Twiggs County and then transported back to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Headquarters.

After further investigation, Cone was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Kendarrious Rayshun Cone faces charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Aggravated Assault, and Murder. He does not have a bond.

This incident is still under investigation pending other charges.
