The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a collision with serious injuries that occurred on Broadway, near Flamingo Drive

Macon, GA – According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 7 p.m. Saturday night.

It happened on Broadway, near Flamingo Drive.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a crash.

The responding deputies discovered that a GMC was traveling north on Broadway when it collided with a tractor trailer that was pulling out of a driveway.

The driver of the GMC, 72-year-old Larry Ryder of Macon and his passenger, 67-year-old Wanda Washington of Warner Robins, were transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. Both Ryder and Washington are listed to be in critical condition.
