The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a personal robbery that took place in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Emery Highway

Macon, GA – According to the BCSO officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 5:27 p.m. Friday evening.

It happened in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Emery Highway.

The responding deputies discovered that the 84-year-old victim was in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Emery Highway approaching her vehicle.

She was approached by three late teen males wearing all black.

The subject attempted to take the keys to the female’s car, but she refused to give them up. The suspect began striking the female causing injuries.

This is when multiple other people intervened, and the suspects ran off.

The victim was transported to Piedmont Hospital and is listed in stable condition at this time.
