The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred within the 3400 block of Houston Avenue

Macon, GA – According to the statement, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

When Deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a twenty-eight-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics responded to the scene to provide medical treatment before transporting the male to a medical facility. No one else was reported injured.

According to the Medical Staff, the victim is in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
