The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating fatal traffic collision that occurred on Mercer University Drive near Summer Hill Drive

Macon, GA – According to the statement, the fatal incident occurred right after 6 p.m. Monday.

It happened on Mercer University Drive near Summer Hill Drive.

Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a crash.

The responding deputies reportedly discovered a collision involving two sedans and a pickup truck.

It was reported that the driver of a 2022 Hyundai Accent was traveling west on Mercer University Drive and crossed the center median.

A collision then occurred with two vehicles traveling east, a 2022 Honda Civic driven by a seventy-five-year-old female of Macon, and a 2009 Ford F-150 driven by a sixty-year-old male of Macon.

All parties involved in the collision were treated by paramedics and transported to Atrium Navicent Health.

The driver of the Hyundai Accent was identified as twenty-five-year-old Yeshaya Dubose.

Dubose was pronounced deceased.

The Accent was also occupied by two passengers, one is in critical condition, the other in stable condition. The two other motorists involved are in stable condition.
