The Frank Johnson Recreation Center is celebrating Black History Month with a free family fun night

Macon, GA – According to the statement, this amazing event will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Officials also said that there will be games, a literacy lab, refreshments, music trivia for the grownups, and entertainment.

Children are encouraged to dress like their favorite Black History Hero for the chance to win a prize.  

Center Director Clarence Thomas says this night is not only about celebrating the achievements and contributions of African-Americans throughout history, but also about fun and family connection.
