The Macon-Bibb Fire Department announced its 2022 Rookie of the Year

Macon, GA – According to the statement, the 2022 Rookie of the Year is Firefighter Robert Husted.

Officials have announced that Firefighter Robert  joined the Fire Department on August 30, 2021. He’s a U.S. Air Force Veteran who spent 24 years in Security Forces.  

When he’s not working, Husted tells us he loves spending time with his family and finding new ways to help and support his community.
