The United States has, by far, the most horses in the world — approximately 10.5 million.  Lexington, Kentucky, is known as the “horse capital of the world.” The region is home to about 450 horse farms as well as Keeneland, the world’s largest thoroughbred auction house.

These two horses were playmates when they were foals, but the horse in red, Arthur, had to be sold.

After 4 and a half years, Sue was able to repurchase Arthur and was very curious if the horses would remember one another. Thankfully she documented their reunion, as it is so touching and very evident that they do indeed remember one another as old friends being reunited. What extraordinary footage!

This actually made me cry! Don’t let anyone ever try and tell you that animals don’t have feelings! This is Beautiful!
