Okay But How Important is Pass Defense, Really?

I give you all permission to have a sort of general alarm at how Ohio State performed against Indiana on Saturday. Justin Fields made several very dumb decisions, the secondary gave up seemingly endless passing yards, and what should’ve been a rout ended up being a one-score squeaker that required a last-minute defensive stand.

But I prefer to live in the reality that says Indiana is in fact really freaking good this year, with an excellent quarterback, very good defensive line, and some skill players that could give any defense headaches.

That reality may or may not actually exist, but 2020 is a Weird One and who’s to say that my version of what’s real isn’t any more valid than whatever fresh hell we’ve been dealing with on a day-to-day basis for the past 11 months? Anyway, have some tweets!
