The Georgia Department of Public Health reported 3,620 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19

Macon, GA – According to the statement, a total of 766,604 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
Unfortunately, the Georgia Department of Public Health reported 98 additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 13,146 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
6,597,050 tests have been performed in the state, which had an 11.2% positivity rate. Georgia was reporting a total of 166,308 antigen positive cases and 1,712 “probable” deaths on Friday.
And last, but not least important – 232 additional hospitalizations were reported, bringing the state’s total to 51,479 since the outbreak began.
