Mayor Miller declared January National Mentoring Month at a Proclamation Ceremony

Macon, GA – According to the city officials, the Proclamation notes mentoring provides a network of support for young people and encourages them to work together to make positive change in our community.

It also states that through the COVID pandemic, Girls Dig Deeper initiative provided a safe virtual space for young women to come together and share their struggles while receiving support from mentors and one another.
