The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened on Fair Street

Macon, GA – According to the Sheriff’s Office, this incident occurred around 5:49 p.m. on Wednesday.

It was reported that a 32-year-old female was at a residence on Fair Street. During an altercation, an unknown subject began firing a gun.

The 32-year-old female was struck in the upper body. She was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition.

No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
